Cold Season, Warmer Shelf: Three Latte Drinks Worth Stocking This Winter

Cold Season, Warmer Shelf: Three Latte Drinks Worth Stocking This Winter

October 6, 2026

As temperatures drop across Europe, shopper behaviour shifts predictably: warm, comforting drinks move from a nice extra to a genuine reason to visit a specific shelf. Search interest in “hot drinks” and “warming beverages” climbs every year from late September, and functional latte blends, plant based and built around a specific benefit, have become one of the fastest growing corners of that category. For retailers, distributors and private label partners planning their autumn/winter assortment, the question isn’t whether to stock a seasonal latte range, but which one earns the shelf space.

Three latte drinks from the Nature’s Finest range are built for exactly this moment, and together they cover more of the day than a single seasonal flavour can on its own.

Pumpkin Spice Latte

The most recognisable seasonal flavour on the market gets a supplement grade formulation instead of the syrup and sugar version most shoppers already know. The blend combines Ceylon cinnamon, real coffee, vanilla and pumpkin, with ginger root and a turmeric extract folded in for extra warmth. At only 34 kcal per serving and formulated to help support normal fat digestion, it gives retailers a way to offer the flavour shoppers already look for every October, without the usual sugar and additive load of a typical seasonal drink. It mixes into 150 mL of warm water in under a minute, with or without a plant based milk for a creamier finish, so it works equally well as an impulse buy or a pantry staple.

Good Night Latte

The evening counterpart to the other two: an organic cacao base with ashwagandha and maca root, formulated to support the body’s response to stress and help with a calmer wind down before bed. As days shorten and the “evening ritual” occasion becomes more relevant to shoppers, a product like this earns shelf space that a purely daytime range simply can’t reach on its own. It’s rich enough to feel like a treat rather than a supplement, which is part of why it performs well both as a standalone product and as the third item in a broader latte range, hot or cold, and works just as easily prepared either way.

Golden Curcuma Latte

For shoppers who want a warm, caffeine free drink with a wellness angle, golden milk style blends have become a staple of the cold season, and this one is built on a rice drink base with 20% turmeric, plus cinnamon and ginger, lightly sweetened with coconut sugar. Each 10 g serving delivers 2,000 mg of turmeric, 500 mg of cinnamon and 300 mg of ginger for only 38 kcal, and it is prepared by stirring into 250 mL of hot water or any plant based drink. The 125 g tin holds 12 servings, which makes the offer easy to explain on shelf or in a listing, and the bright golden colour makes it one of the most eye catching SKUs in the range.

Why stock all three together

Individually, each of these products answers a different moment in a shopper’s day: Pumpkin Spice for the classic autumn craving, Good Night for winding down, Golden Curcuma for a warming, caffeine free ritual at any time of day. Put together, they let a retailer or private label partner offer a coherent latte range that covers the whole day rather than a single seasonal SKU that disappears from relevance by November. That’s a more durable proposition for a shelf slot or an online listing than a single flavour drop, and it gives a private label partner a finished story to build a launch around.

Built for private label, too

All three are manufactured in our own facility in Slovenia, IFS Food and ECO certified, vegan, and independently tested for purity, ingredient accuracy and safety. They’re available as a finished Nature’s Finest range, or as a private label line built to a partner’s own specification, packaging and branding, same formulation, same production standards, under your own brand. For partners who want to move quickly, all three already exist as finished, tested formulas, which shortens the usual development timeline considerably compared with starting a seasonal range from scratch.

Planning your autumn/winter shelf assortment? Get in touch. We’d love to talk about what a warming latte range could look like for you, whether that’s the Nature’s Finest range as it is or a private label version built around your own brand.

Thank you! Your request has been sent.

GLPRO-1 & Night GLPRO-1: Built to Complete What GLP-1 Started

GLPRO-1 & Night GLPRO-1: Built to Complete What GLP-1 Started

September 24, 2026

GLP-1 receptor agonists have become one of the most talked-about tools in weight management in the last few years, and for good reason: for many people, they work. But the conversation around them is starting to shift from “how much weight” to “what kind of weight.”

The muscle problem

Several clinical studies following GLP-1 users over the course of treatment have found that a meaningful share of the weight lost comes from lean mass rather than fat, not just from fat alone. That matters for anyone using these medications for the long term: losing muscle can slow metabolism, reduce strength and mobility, and undercut some of the health benefits the weight loss was meant to deliver in the first place.

It’s also created a new category of demand: not for weight-loss products that compete with GLP-1 treatments, but for companion nutrition that supports the process without working against it, appetite and blood-sugar support during the day, recovery and metabolic support overnight.

Built as a day-and-night pair

That’s the gap our GLPRO-1 and Night GLPRO-1 formulas are built for, and the reason we designed them as a genuinely complementary day-and-night pair, not just two products sold side by side.

GLPRO-1, taken in the morning, is a thoughtfully balanced blend of prickly pear (nopal) and carob extract with chromium picolinate, guarana, ginger and green tea, designed to support appetite control, blood-sugar balance and steady energy through the day, without relying on stimulant overload.

Night GLPRO-1 is just as carefully put together for the evening: prickly pear and carob again for appetite support, alongside valerian root for sleep onset, and cinnamon bark and turmeric for metabolic and liver support overnight. The idea is straightforward: appetite management doesn’t stop at dinner, and neither should support for it.

Both formulas are now available in capsules, in addition to the original powder format: two capsules of each, morning and evening, no mixing or measuring required.

Not a replacement, a companion

To be clear about positioning: GLPRO-1 and Night GLPRO-1 are not, and are not marketed as, an alternative to GLP-1 medication. They’re built for people already on that journey, or managing weight through diet and lifestyle alone, who want additional support for appetite, blood sugar and sleep, the everyday pieces that determine whether weight loss holds, and whether the weight that’s lost is the weight that should be.

For our retail and private label partners

GLPRO-1 and Night GLPRO-1 are available both ready-made and as a private label opportunity: a carefully formulated, tested and manufactured in-house range from Slovenia, HACCP certified. As GLP-1-adjacent nutrition becomes one of the fastest-growing shelf categories in weight management, this is a straightforward way to get a credible, ready-to-launch line into that category without building a formulation from scratch.

If you’re exploring this category for your own shelf or your own brand, get in touch and we’ll walk you through samples, specifications and lead times.

Thank you! Your request has been sent.

Five Questions to Ask Before You Choose a Manufacturing Partner

logotype

Five Questions to Ask Before You Choose a Manufacturing Partner

September 22, 2026

Most conversations about choosing a supplement manufacturing partner start with a price list. They should start earlier than that. A price list tells you what one order costs. It doesn’t tell you whether the partner behind it can hold quality steady on the fiftieth order, grow with you as you scale, or still be answering your emails in two years. Those answers come from asking the right questions upfront, not from finding out the hard way.

Here are the five we think matter most, and what we’d tell you if you asked us.

Here’s a practical look at what actually belongs on that shelf, starting with the product built to cover the whole season in one go, and then the specific single-nutrient options worth stocking alongside it.

1. Are they certified, not just claiming it?

Anyone can put “quality guaranteed” on a website. Certification is different: it means an independent body has actually verified the production process, not just taken the manufacturer’s word for it. Ask for the certificate, ask what it covers, and ask how recently it was audited. At Nature’s Finest, every batch runs through a HACCP-certified process, documented at each stage from raw material intake to finished product, and that documentation is available to review, not just referenced.

2. Can they scale from a small first order to full retail volume?

A manufacturer who can produce a strong first sample isn’t automatically one who can produce the same quality at ten times the volume six months later. This is where a lot of partnerships quietly fail: production capacity that looked fine at pilot scale turns out to be the bottleneck the moment a retail listing actually takes off. Worth asking directly: what happens to lead time and consistency when order volume triples? If the answer is vague, that’s the answer.

3. Do they offer both private label and bulk ingredient supply, or just one?

This matters more than it first looks like it does. A manufacturer who only does finished private label products, and one who only supplies bulk ingredients, are solving different problems. If your needs shift, say you start reselling finished product and later want to formulate your own blend from raw ingredients, a partner who covers both means that conversation doesn’t require starting over with someone new. It’s flexibility you may not need on day one, but it’s worth knowing you have it.

All of the products above are manufactured in-house, GMP and HACCP certified, and available both ready-made and as a private label range under your own brand, for retailers who’d rather build a branded immune-season line than stock someone else’s.

4. What's the realistic lead time, not the best-case one?

Every manufacturer can quote a best-case lead time. Fewer will tell you the realistic one, the number that holds up during a busy season or when a raw ingredient is delayed. Ask what happens when something slips, not just what the timeline looks like when nothing does. A partner who’s upfront about that now is one you can actually plan a launch or a reorder schedule around later.

All of the products above are manufactured in-house, GMP and HACCP certified, and available both ready-made and as a private label range under your own brand, for retailers who’d rather build a branded immune-season line than stock someone else’s.

5. Do they build their own retail brand, or only manufacture for others?

This is the question that tells you the most, and it’s the one buyers ask least. A manufacturer who also runs their own retail brand understands things a pure contract manufacturer doesn’t have to: what a retail buyer actually looks for, how a product performs once it’s on a shelf next to competitors, what happens when a formulation needs adjusting for a specific market. Nature’s Finest is manufactured on the same lines, to the same process, as every private label product we make. It’s already selling in 40+ markets. If we’re willing to put our own name on it, that’s a fair measure of what any manufacturing partner should be willing to stand behind.

All of the products above are manufactured in-house, GMP and HACCP certified, and available both ready-made and as a private label range under your own brand, for retailers who’d rather build a branded immune-season line than stock someone else’s.

The pattern behind all five

None of these questions are really about price. They’re about whether a manufacturing partnership holds up past the first order, when volume changes, when timelines get tight, when your own product line grows in a direction you didn’t originally plan for. The manufacturers worth working with are the ones who answer these clearly, not the ones who avoid them.

If you’re evaluating a manufacturing partner and want to run through these five with us directly, we’re happy to.

Restocking for Cold and Flu Season: What’s Actually Worth Having on Shelf

logotype

Restocking for Cold and Flu Season: What's Actually Worth Having on Shelf

September 15, 2026

Every autumn, the same shift happens on pharmacy and health-store shelves across Europe. Shoppers who spent the summer reaching for sunscreen and electrolytes start reaching for something else: vitamin C, zinc, vitamin D, and whatever promises to keep the first cough of the season from turning into two weeks off work. For retailers, this is one of the most predictable demand spikes of the year, and one of the easiest to get wrong if the assortment isn’t ready before it hits.

Here’s a practical look at what actually belongs on that shelf, starting with the product built to cover the whole season in one go, and then the specific single-nutrient options worth stocking alongside it.

The all-in-one option: IMUNUP

IMUNUP is our comprehensive immune and wellness powder, mixed into water as a daily drink. One 240 g pack covers 10 days, at 24 g (4 scoops) per day, and a single daily serving delivers 100% of the NRV (Nutrient Reference Value) for every vitamin and mineral it contains.

That’s a genuinely broad formula: 11 vitamins (A, C, E, and the full B-complex: B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B8, B9, B12), 8 minerals (magnesium, iron, zinc, manganese, copper, chromium, iodine, selenium), and 7 amino acids (L-glutamine, L-arginine, L-lysine, taurine, glycine, L-methionine, L-cystine), 26 active ingredients in total.

The practical case for stocking it: vitamin C and zinc support normal immune function, magnesium helps reduce tiredness and fatigue, and vitamin E protects cells from oxidative stress, exactly the combination shoppers are already looking for once the weather turns, without needing to explain seven different products to them. It’s produced under IFS Food Standard certification, carries an ECO certificate, and every batch goes through independent lab testing for purity and safety.

For shelves that want single-nutrient options: the capsule range

Not every customer wants an all-in-one drink, and not every retailer wants to introduce a new format. For shelves built around simple, single-purpose capsules, three are worth prioritising for the season.

  • Zinc + Selenium + Vitamin C is the most directly “immune season” SKU in the range: a triple-action formula built specifically around the three nutrients most associated with immune support, in one capsule.
  • Vitamin D3 is the other essential, especially relevant from autumn through winter when natural sunlight exposure drops across most of Europe. Ours delivers 2000 IU (1000% NRV) per capsule, a strong, clearly-labelled dose that’s easy to sell on its own.
  • Vitamin C on its own (500 mg per capsule) remains the category’s most recognisable, most reliably reached-for SKU, useful as a lower-commitment entry point alongside the combination formulas.

Two more worth a mention if shelf space allows:

  • Iron + Vitamin C, a good fit for the energy/fatigue angle rather than pure immune support
  • B-Complex (100% NRV of all 8 B-vitamins per capsule), which pairs well with IMUNUP’s positioning for customers who want ongoing energy support beyond the immune season itself.

Getting the assortment ready before demand peaks

The pattern every year is the same: the retailers who have this shelf stocked and visible before the first cold snap capture the season, and the ones who restock reactively spend it playing catch-up. Whether that means a full seasonal bundle built around IMUNUP, a tighter capsule-only range, or both, the earlier the assortment is in place, the better it performs.

All of the products above are manufactured in-house, GMP and HACCP certified, and available both ready-made and as a private label range under your own brand, for retailers who’d rather build a branded immune-season line than stock someone else’s.

Thank you! Your request has been sent.

What Distributing Nature’s Finest Actually Looks Like

What Distributing Nature’s Finest Actually Looks Like

September 10, 2026

Most people who come across Nutrisslim first meet us through what we manufacture for someone else, a private label range, a bulk ingredient order. Less visible is the brand we built and sell ourselves: Nature’s Finest. For a distributor or retailer deciding what to bring into their market, that’s actually the more useful thing to look at, because it’s not a pitch, it’s a track record.

A brand tested in the market, not just on paper

Nature’s Finest didn’t launch into 25+ European markets at once. It got there the way any brand does: market by market, product by product, based on what actually sold and what didn’t. That’s a different starting point than a brand you’re evaluating on formulation sheets and mockups alone. The demand is already measurable, from our own sales data over the past 12 months, not projected.

Why proven demand changes the risk on your side

Bringing in a brand nobody has bought yet means the market-testing risk sits entirely with you. With Nature’s Finest, that groundwork is already done: the range, the packaging, the positioning and the price points have been validated across a range of markets and retail formats, from pharmacy and drugstore chains to national grocery retail. You’re not asking “will this sell”, you’re asking “will this sell here”, which is a much narrower and more answerable question.

Two ways to work with us

Distribution conversations with us tend to go one of two directions, and it’s worth being upfront that both are on the table. The first is bringing the existing Nature’s Finest range into your market as-is: same formulations, same packaging, same brand. The second is building a private label range under your own name, on the same production lines, to the same GMP and HACCP certified standards Nature’s Finest is made to. Some partners start with one and move to the other once the market response is clear. Neither is the “default” option, it depends on whether you’re looking to add a recognized brand to your shelf or build equity in your own.

What this looks like in practice

Day to day, a distribution conversation usually starts with a handful of practical questions: which SKUs perform best in comparable markets, what the minimum order volumes look like, and what registration or labeling work is needed locally. On the wholesale side, order minimums are kept accessible rather than container-scale, so a first order doesn’t require a distributor to commit far beyond what they can realistically move while they’re still building out the range in a new market.

Who this is actually for

In practice, the distributors and retailers we work with here tend to be looking for one of two things: a supplement or superfood brand with an established track record to add to an existing catalogue, without spending a year building consumer awareness from zero, or a manufacturing partner who can also put a private label range behind their own name, backed by the same standards Nature’s Finest is held to. Online retailers and marketplace sellers evaluating a new supplement category fall into the first group just as often as traditional pharmacy or grocery distributors do.

If you’re looking to bring Nature’s Finest into your market, or want to talk through what a private label range on the same standards would look like, we’re happy to walk through it.

Thank you! Your request has been sent.

The Coffee Upgrade We Promised

logotype

Meet Mushroom Coffee: Nature's Finest Take on the Functional Coffee Trend

September 8, 2026

Earlier this week, we flagged something worth watching: reishi, chaga and lion’s mane were moving out of wellness niches and into everyday coffee alternatives, as shoppers started looking for something that does more than caffeine alone. We said more was coming later this week. Here it is.

Mushroom Coffee is our new addition to the Nature’s Finest range: a coffee upgrade built for people who want their daily ritual to work harder, without giving up the coffee itself.

What's actually in it

Mushroom Coffee is a blend of instant coffee with four types of mushrooms, reishi, chaga, lion’s mane and shiitake, alongside maca root and ashwagandha extract. Each 5 g daily serving (one scoop, mixed into 150 ml of warm water) delivers 1750 mg of instant coffee, including 49 mg of caffeine, 400 mg reishi, 400 mg chaga, 150 mg lion’s mane extract, 100 mg shiitake extract, 100 mg maca and 100 mg ashwagandha extract. The formulation is vegan, contains no added sugar, and each 150 g pack covers 30 servings.

The idea isn’t to strip caffeine out of coffee. It’s to build something around it: a blend that helps the body deal with stress, supports mental and physical wellbeing, and helps maintain energy levels and emotional balance, alongside the coffee ritual people already have. It can be taken as is, or with milk or a plant-based drink, depending on preference.

Why now

Functional coffee alternatives are one of the fastest-moving corners of the beverage aisle right now. Retailers are starting to make room on shelf for mushroom and adaptogen blends, and more brands are choosing to reformulate existing coffee lines rather than launch an entirely new category from scratch. That’s the same shift we described earlier this week, and Mushroom Coffee is our answer to it: a coffee replacement and upgrade positioned as a daily ritual, not a one-off wellness purchase.

The product is aimed at people who already reach for coffee every day but are looking for something more: better focus, steadier energy without the crash, and a bit of support for how they handle stress. That’s a broad audience, but the sharpest fit is with busy professionals, entrepreneurs and wellness-conscious coffee drinkers who’ve run into the usual complaints, jitteriness, an energy dip a few hours later, or an upset stomach, and are open to an alternative that doesn’t ask them to give up their coffee habit.

Built for a crowded category

Functional mushroom coffee isn’t a new idea. It’s a category with real competition, several blends promising sharper focus, calmer energy or added adaptogens. Where Mushroom Coffee sets itself apart is in keeping the formulation focused: four mushrooms and two supporting adaptogens, rather than a long list of active ingredients that’s hard for a customer to actually understand or explain to a friend. Less complexity, more clarity, that’s the brief we built to, and it should carry through to how the product looks on shelf and how a sales team pitches it.

For our stockits and partners

As with the rest of the Nature’s Finest range, Mushroom Coffee is available both as a stock item and as a private label opportunity for partners who want to build their own version of the concept. Every batch follows the same manufacturing and quality standards as the rest of our portfolio, produced in Slovenia.

If you’re already carrying Nature’s Finest products, or you’ve been looking for a way into the functional coffee category without developing a formulation from the ground up, this is worth a conversation. Get in touch and we’ll walk you through samples, pricing and lead times.

The Science Behind Every Nature’s Finest Formula

logotype

The Science Behind Every Nature's Finest Formula

September 4, 2026

An idea for a new formula is easy. Turning it into something that performs the same way in batch one hundred as it did in batch one is the actual work. That’s what our R&D department does, and it’s also where Pia spends most of her day.

Five stages, one standard

Every formula that comes out of Nutrisslim, whether it’s for our own brand or a private label client, goes through the same five stages before it reaches production.

  1. Concept. An idea gets translated into a structured development brief: positioning, target group, and technical feasibility, before a single ingredient is chosen.
  2. Formulation. The R&D team designs a formula around scientifically supported ingredients and synergistic combinations, balancing effectiveness, safety, regulatory requirements, and cost.
  3. Testing. Every formula undergoes stability, safety, and quality evaluations. This is where a formula either proves it can perform consistently or gets sent back for adjustment.
  4. Documentation. Complete technical and regulatory documentation is prepared, the paperwork that makes a formula ready for compliant market entry, not an afterthought.
  5. Production. Only once a formulation is validated does it move into controlled manufacturing, with full traceability and quality oversight from there on.

Meet Pia

Pia is part of the R&D team that works through this process on every formula that passes through Nutrisslim. Her take on when a formula is actually done:

It’s a small sentence that says a lot about how the team approaches the work: a formula that looks correct on paper still has to prove itself under testing, repeatedly, before anyone signs off on it.

Why this matters if you're a client

For a private label brand or a bulk ingredient buyer, this process is the part that’s usually invisible. You see the finished product or the raw material on your production line, not the months of testing, documentation, and adjustment behind it. But it’s the reason a formula that works in month one still works exactly the same in month twelve, and it’s the same standard whether the product carries the Nature’s Finest name or yours.

Our R&D department combines scientific knowledge, market insight, and practical manufacturing experience, and that combination is what sits behind every product portfolio decision we make.

Thank you! Your request has been sent.

What Our Bulk Ingredient Supply Actually Covers

logotype

What our bulk ingredient supply actually covers

September 2, 2026

Most people who know Nutrisslim know us as a finished-product manufacturer, the company behind private label supplement ranges and our own brand, Nature’s Finest. What’s less visible is the other half of what we do: supplying the raw materials and ingredient blends that go into those products in the first place, directly to other manufacturers, brands and distributors.

A wider range than most people expect

Our bulk catalogue spans plant extracts (including ashwagandha, turmeric and ginkgo biloba), organic powders (spirulina, matcha, moringa among them), fruit powders like acai, baobab and cacao, vitamins and minerals, amino acids, proteins and collagen, natural colorings, sweeteners, flavorings, carriers and stabilizers, oils, and seeds and nuts. A number of these are branded, third-party certified ingredients, such as Lacprodan® whey protein isolate, Fortigel® and Naticol® collagen, sitting alongside our standard raw material range.

Sourced globally, checked to one standard

We don’t limit ourselves to a single region when it comes to sourcing. Ingredients like acai and baobab simply don’t grow in Europe, and holding to a “European-only” sourcing story would mean cutting a large part of the catalogue our clients actually ask for. What stays constant, regardless of where an ingredient originates, is the standard it has to meet before it reaches a client: full traceability back to the raw material source, safety documentation, compliance support for the markets it’s sold into, and batch-to-batch consistency. That’s the part of sourcing that actually matters to a formulator or a production manager, not which continent an ingredient shipped from.

Volumes that adapt to where you are

One of the more common frustrations we hear from smaller and mid-sized manufacturers is that sourcing directly from overseas producers usually means committing to container-scale minimum orders, long before a formulation is even finalized. We work differently. Whether a client is testing a new formulation at a small batch size or securing supply for large-scale production, we adjust volumes to what’s actually needed, not to what’s convenient for us.

A supply partner, not a trader

The distinction we’d draw between ourselves and a pure ingredient trader is continuity. A trader sells you a batch. A supply partner keeps documentation consistent, flags upstream supply risks before they become your problem, and stays available for the reorder six months later, not just the first one. That’s the relationship we aim to build with the manufacturers, co-packers and brands who buy raw materials from us, the same reliability standard we hold ourselves to on the finished-product side of the business with Nature’s Finest.

Who this is actually for

In practice, our bulk clients tend to fall into a few groups: supplement manufacturers who need a specific extract or blend without setting up their own sourcing relationships, contract manufacturers filling gaps in their own supply chain, food producers looking for functional or natural ingredients, private label brands sourcing components for a formulation we’re not otherwise involved in, and distributors managing ingredient supply across a region.

What this looks like day to day

Day to day, it looks like a formulator asking whether a specific plant extract is available at pharma-grade specification before committing to a recipe. It looks like a contract manufacturer needing documentation for a raw material batch to satisfy their own regulatory audit. It looks like a brand that wants to test a new blend at a few kilograms before deciding whether to scale it to a full production run.

If you’re sourcing raw materials for your own formulation, production line, or private label range, you can browse our full bulk ingredient range.  If what you need isn’t listed, or you want to talk through volumes, documentation or a specific ingredient, we’re happy to walk through what that would look like.

Thank you! Your request has been sent.

What Private Label Actually Looks Like in Practice

logotype

What Private Label Actually Looks Like in Practice

August 31, 2026

“Private label” gets used as shorthand for outsourcing production, as if the hard part ends the moment a formula is approved. In reality, the formula is the easy part. What actually separates a private label partnership that lasts from one that falls apart after the first order is everything that happens next: matching specifications, holding quality steady, and delivering on time, order after order.

It starts with matching your specifications, not filling a generic order

At Nature’s Finest, every private label project begins with the retailer’s or brand’s own requirements, not a one-size-fits-all template. That means formulation adjusted to the brief, packaging that matches the exact look and format a client needs, and labeling that satisfies the regulatory requirements of the markets the product will sell in. A manufacturing partner that treats every client’s product the same way isn’t really producing a private label product. They’re relabeling their own.

Matching specifications also means being upfront about what’s realistic. If an ingredient, format, or packaging choice would compromise shelf life, cost, or compliance, that’s a conversation we have before production starts, not a surprise after it.

Certified production, not a one-off good batch

Anyone can produce a strong first sample. The harder standard is producing the same quality on the hundredth order as the first. That’s why GMP and HACCP certification isn’t a line on a certificate for us, it’s the framework behind every batch: documented processes, consistent raw material sourcing, and quality control checks at each stage of production.

It’s this documentation and consistency that lets a brand put its name on a product manufactured somewhere else entirely, and trust that what ships in month twelve is identical to what shipped in month one.

Reliability is the part that rarely makes it into the pitch

The part of private label that gets the least attention in a sales conversation is delivery reliability, but it’s usually the part that decides whether a partnership actually survives. National retail chains across Europe work with Nutrisslim for exactly this reason: predictable lead times, consistent stock availability, and production capacity that scales with demand instead of buckling under it.

A missed delivery window doesn’t just delay one order. For a brand selling through retail, it can mean losing shelf space to a competitor who showed up on time, or a stockout during exactly the week demand spiked. Reliability compounds. So does the lack of it.

We hold ourselves to the same standard

We don’t just say this, we build to it. Nature’s Finest, our own brand, is manufactured on the same production lines, to the same specifications, and under the same GMP and HACCP certified quality control as every private label product we make. It’s on shelves in 40+ markets today, backed by 250+ ready-to-sell products. If we’re willing to put our own name on what comes off that line, it’s a fair measure of what any private label partner should be able to expect from us.

What to actually ask when you're evaluating a manufacturing partner

The right question isn’t “can you make this product.” Most manufacturers can make a product, at least once. The questions worth asking are closer to these: Can you match our exact specifications, not just something close to them? Can you document and certify your quality process, not just describe it? And can you deliver the same product, at the same standard, for the fiftieth order as reliably as the first?

What this looks like day to day

In practice, this rarely looks dramatic. It looks like a packaging format adjusted twice before a client’s retail buyer signs off. It looks like a formulation tweaked for shelf stability in a market with a longer distribution chain than the one it was originally built for. It looks like the same reorder, placed on the same schedule, arriving on time for the fortieth month in a row without anyone at the client’s end having to think about it.

None of that shows up in a pitch deck. It shows up in whether a brand can keep growing without its supply chain becoming the thing that holds it back.

If you’re planning your own supplement range, or looking to move production to a partner who can keep pace with a growing retail footprint, we’re happy to walk through what that would look like for your brand.

Whey Prices Have Tripled. Here's the Alternative.

August 26, 2026

The number that should worry every protein brand

Whey protein concentrate (WPC80) has climbed from roughly $5,500 per metric tonne in 2023 to around $32,000 today, nearly a sixfold increase in under three years. In Europe, current quotes are running €14,000–15,000 per tonne, and manufacturers report selling out before the next production batch even reaches the market.

For any brand that has built its protein line around whey, this isn’t a temporary spike to wait out. It’s a structural shift in the underlying economics of the ingredient.

Why this is structural, not seasonal

Whey is a by-product of cheese production, which means its supply is capped by how much cheese the dairy industry makes, not by how much protein the market wants. Cheese output grows only 4–5% a year worldwide. Demand for whey, meanwhile, is climbing on multiple fronts at once: the continued expansion of sports nutrition, a wave of GLP-1 medication users who need more protein in their diet to preserve muscle mass, and the steady spread of “protein claim” labelling into snacks, dairy, and bakery categories that never used to carry one.

When supply grows at 4–5% a year and demand grows faster across several categories simultaneously, price is the only variable left to absorb the gap. That’s exactly what’s happened.

How brands are already responding

Across the industry, manufacturers exposed to whey are adjusting in three visible ways: shrinking serving sizes to hold retail price points, raising prices and accepting some margin or volume loss, or reformulating toward blended protein systems that reduce whey’s share of the amino acid profile. All three are damage control. None of them make the underlying ingredient cheaper.

A fourth option is available to brands that qualify sooner: moving part of the range onto a protein source that isn’t tied to the same supply chain at all.

An alternative that's already proven, not a pilot project

Our Vegan Protein range is built on a pea, rice and chia blend, formulated to deliver up to 18g of protein per 25g serving in its highest-protein option, with 2.7g BCAA per serving and no added sugar across the line. It’s available in four established flavours, plus a certified organic line, and every product is manufactured to IFS Food Standard.

Because it doesn’t compete for the same raw material as whey, its cost base has stayed comparatively stable through the exact period that pushed WPC80 up sixfold. And because it’s an existing, market-proven range rather than a new formulation, it’s available now as stock product or under private label, with none of the lead time a from-scratch reformulation would require.

What this means for your line

If whey volatility is already squeezing margins, or if your team is modelling what happens if prices climb further before they stabilise, this is a good moment to look at where a plant-based option could sit in your portfolio, whether as a hedge, a parallel SKU, or a full replacement in specific formats.

Our Vegan Protein range is already proven, already certified, and ready to ship, as stock product or under your own label, so there’s no lead time to weigh against the cost of waiting this out.

If you’d like to talk through fit, pricing and lead times for your line, we’d like to hear from you.
